Biography

I’m David, a filmmaker and visual effects artist focused on capturing  how it truly felt.

For the 10 years in Canada, I was chasing the movie dream, working on over 40 productions across major studio projects. That experience shaped how I see everything now; light, movement, story. It’s where the cinematic side of my work comes from.

Alongside that, I spent years shooting weddings with a large studio and realised these stories carry just as much weight. Real moments, no retakes, everything unfolding once.

My approach is simple: a little direction as needed, but mostly observation. I’m there for the in-between, the energy, the emotion, the candid and the moments you didn’t even know were happening, the final video uniquely you.

I'm especially drawn to the Super 8 and 16mm film look because it has a nostalgic grain to it thats hard to minic - though, with my VFX background I can get very close ;)

At the end of it all, I’m here to create something that feels alive, something you can come back to years from now and feel all over again and again.
